On January 16th and 18th, 2023, Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church had a successful digital seniors training class. Focusing on empowering older adults in navigating websites and creating professional email accounts. Instructors guided participants through the process of navigating websites, setting up secure and personalized email addresses, and choosing strong passwords. By the end of the training program, seniors expressed increased confidence and proficiency in using digital tools. They could navigate websites with ease, access information independently, and communicate effectively through professional email accounts. Participants also appreciated the social aspect of the classes, connecting with peers and forming a supportive learning community. Overall, the training class was a valuable opportunity for seniors to embrace technology, enhance their digital literacy skills, and stay connected in today’s digital age.
